Ministry Team: a group of Christians using their spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities to build up the church and reach out, in word and deed, to the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.
As a part of the Body of Christ, we all have a place in our Christ-centered ministry right now. Each one of us is called to ministry and each one of us has a ministry. Our desire as a church is for everyone to be involved in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Here is a list of our Ministry Teams and the role they play in helping us to live out our mission. Our Worship Ministry Team seeks to have us grow in our love for God, and show our gratitude to God, through worship. Our Worship Ministry team oversees our worship gatherings and special services throughout the year in an effort to bring our congregation, and our community, into the presence of the Lord through worship.
Our Stewardship Ministry Team seeks to have us grow in the faithful use of all our financial and facility resources so that we will continue to be effective in our Christ-centered ministry in our community. Our Stewardship Ministry Team oversees our facility and our finances so that we might become good stewards, both individually and together, of all God gives to us.
Our Service Ministry Team seeks to provide all of us with opportunities
for mission, service, and fellowship. Our Service Ministry Team oversees
our church membership and our Christian fellowship that we might encourage
each other in love and build each other up in the faith. It also oversees
our missionaries, our mission giving, and our mission and service involvement
that we might more effectively show the love and truth of Jesus Christ
to our community and
to the world.
Our Personnel Ministry Team seeks to encourage and build up our church staff that they might continue to be growing Christians others can follow. Our Personnel Ministry Team oversees the hiring of and the spiritual and professional development of our church staff each year so that our staff can more effectively lead us all in ministry.
